Jazz Supreme

This week's episode celebrates Trane's iconic A Love Supreme, recorded 55 years ago this past week. The suites first movement Acknowledgement is followed by the 2019 release of Blue World. We hear other fine saxophonists George Garzone, Roland Kirk and Hank Mobley. The podcast concludes with Envisage Collective, an ensemble that includes CT based artists Noah Baerman, Kris Allen, Chris Dingman among others.

This abbreviated podcast was recorded during the WWUH fundraiser. A lot of editing was done to cut out the pledge drive pitches, so this episode may sound a bit choppy.
